To test this, it is recommended that you try a month of very low intake of meat, dairy and eggs and see if a noticeable change occurs.

Rosacea sufferers have reported that the protein issue is not as important as the previous three (lots of water, avoid spicy food, avoid alcohol). So many people with rosacea enjoy a moderate level of meat/dairy/eggs in their diet but have cured their rosacea with lots of water, no spicy food and low or no alcohol in their diet.

The key is to be very analytical about it. Keep a journal and jot down your diet and the frequency of outbreaks to see if a causation can be spotted. With some of these major irritants it is best to get off them completely for a month and see what effect it has on your skin, then reintroduce slowly to see what happens.
